Meet the Founder

Elsie Otegbade has been in the International education sector (study abroad) for almost 20 years. She is the founder/CEO of the parent company, Harvestfield Education Services Ltd which has successfully facilitated the progression of students for studies abroad since 2005 when her own children started travelling abroad for studies. Elsie and her husband, Pastor Femi Otegbade, are proud parents of 7 successful graduates, who are global citizens. She is very passionate about young adults discovering and pursuing their academic dreams.

Entry requirements vary depending on the school or college, but typically, students need to have achieved good grades in their WAEC or IGCSCE O’Levels.

6th form refers to the two years of education after completing O Levels, typically for students aged 15-19 years old.

Students can choose from a range of subjects, including sciences, humanities, languages, arts, and social sciences.

Typically, students take 3-4 A-level subjects, although some schools may offer more or fewer options.

6th form provides students with a more specialized education, helps them develop independent study skills, and prepares them for the academic demands of university.

We offer OSSD, A’Levels, 2+2 UK Degree Program, UK Foundation, SAT, IELTS.

Program durations vary: 2+2 UK Degree Program (2years), OSSD (1 year), IELTS (variable), SAT (variable), UK Foundation (1 year), and A-Levels (1 – 2 years). At Harvestfield College, we give an option of a one year intensive A’Level program or a two year program. This is a combination of the AS and A2 Level courses taken within a year, instead of two.

Start the first two years of your UK undergraduate degree with us at HC, and complete the last two years in a UK University. Applicants must have completed Grade 12 or equivalent, with a minimum overall average of 60% and a minimum English language proficiency of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.

The Ontario Secondary School Diploma program is a Canadian high school diploma program that prepares students for university. At HC, we offer the last year of the OSSD for students who have finished WAEC, IGCSE or students who have just completed SS2 or Grade 11 of a high school. The examination includes a literacy test (OSSLT – Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test) and 6 courses . It prepares students for post-secondary education in Canada. The Canadian OSSD is equivalent to the UK A’ Level program.   

Applicants must have completed Grade 11 or equivalent, with a minimum overall average of 60% and a minimum English language proficiency of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.

We offer a range of subjects, including English, mathematics, science, social science, and elective courses. At Harvestfield College, we offer OSSD courses to help students prepare for the test.

The OSSD is equivalent to the British A-levels.

The International English Language Testing System program is an English language proficiency test that measures a student’s ability to listen, read, write, and speak in English.
